OU Summer Jazz Intensive
July 18-22, 2022, Monday - Thursday 10 am to 3:30 pm, Friday 10 am - noon
Day Camp on the beautiful campus of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan
The OU Summer Jazz Intensive is designed for high school instrumentalists (entering 9th grade through graduating seniors)of all levels and instruments to expand their knowledge in improvisation, ensemble techniques and jazz fundamentals. We will also cover topics such as the history and lineage of jazz, bridging classical to jazz, jazz as language and much more. Students will be placed in a combo. There will be a final concert on Friday morning.
