All registered students, faculty, staff, alumni, and recreation center members may obtain their GrizzCards by visiting the ID Card Office, located in the Oakland Center. Office hours can be viewed underStaff and Hours. Your first GrizzCard is free, replacement cards cost $15.
To get a GrizzCard:
- Studentsmust show a picture ID (driver's license, passport, state ID), Grizzly ID number and must be registered for classes.
- Faculty and staffmust show a picture ID (driver's license, passport, state ID), Grizzly ID number and Verification of Employment Form from your New Employee Orientation or your letter of offer.
- Alumnimust show a picture ID (driver's license, passport, state ID). All alumni GrizzCards cost $15. Proof of graduation (i.e. OU transcript) and Grizzly ID number must be shown in the office. Alumni are also eligible to upgrade to the Grizz Gold Card with the Oakland University Credit Union. For more on the benefits and discounts available for alumni, visit theOU Alumniwebsite.
Replacement Cards:
If you need to replace your GrizzCard:
- If your card was lost or stolen, mark your card as "Lost" using theOnline ID Card Office"Deactivate Card" feature. This will prevent possible use of the card.
- You may also report lost or stolen cards to the ID Card Office. Lost or stolen Grizz Gold Cards should also be reported to theOakland University Credit Union.
- To purchase a replacement card, go to the ID Card Office, located in the Oakland Center, room 149.All card functions, including GrizzCa$h and Grizz Gold Card accounts, are transferred to the replacement card.
- There is a $15 fee for all replacement cards.
