Entrepreneurship Minor

Through the courses in the entrepreneurship minor, students learn how to start their own business and successfully launch new ideas. Courses are designed so students can complete the minor rapidly while maximizing their knowledge. Oakland’s entrepreneurship minor can complement any major, allowing students to pursue their primary passion while gaining valuable and practical knowledge and transferable skills.

A minor in entrepreneurship can further define the knowledge professionals need to advance in a competitive marketplace. In addition, students who choose to minor in entrepreneurship build vital understanding of business models, acquire leadership, administrative and problem-solving skills, and gain skills in business planning, marketing strategy, new venture ideation, and creativity and innovation.
